20 weeks / 5 months / Half-way there!
May 27, 2009 – 6:35 am
I can’t believe that it’s been 5 months already! We’re half-way there! (For those who may not know, pregnancy is usually more of a 10-month (40 weeks), rather than 9-month process.) At this point, I’m definitely starting to feel a little better. I’m still nauseous, sometimes throughout the day, but I haven’t thrown up in ...read more...
Larry and Becca
May 26, 2009 – 6:33 am
As the countdown to “Departure Nor Cal” begins, it has been a blessing to spend time with friends before leaving. We met Larry and Becca at a wonderful pizza place (Pizzeria Numero Uno) in Encino. Larry is a fellow seminarian and Becca was in my Seminary Wives group. They are also pregnant, though she is ...read more...
Jenn's Graduation

On May 14th, my dear cousin (and precious friend!) received a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Western University of Health Sciences. The commencement exercises were held at the lovely Pasadena Civic Auditorium. We were privileged to attend this exciting event! After the graduation, my uncle and aunt treated us to a delicious ...read more...
Mother's Day
May 24, 2009 – 7:30 am
Mother’s Day and Nate’s Graduation fell on the same day (May 10th). House Guests: Norris
May 23, 2009 – 10:17 pm
After graduation, my parents stayed with us a few nights. They were extremely helpful in assisting with the commencement of our apartment packing. In between the drudgery of constructing and filling boxes, we enjoyed some fun time as well. They took us to dinner to celebrate Nate’s graduation, we explored the coast a bit (Venice ...read more...
House Guests: Wells
May 23, 2009 – 5:09 pm
Both of our parents traveled down to attend Nate’s graduation. Mom and Dad Wells were here for the first half of the week, and my parents stayed with us for the last several days. With the exception of a few overnighters, these were our first (and probably last) house guests, and we were so excited ...read more...
David and Alisha's Wedding
May 23, 2009 – 6:52 am
On May 2nd we were elated to attend the wedding of two of our dearest friends. I’ve known Alisha since birth, and Nate has known David since his infancy as well. It was a sweet blessing to be present for this momentous occasion – and such a beautiful, unforgettable wedding! First peek of the beautful ...read more...
