Floreen's Send-off

On May 18th, our missionary friends, Matt and Rachel Floreen, left the United States to travel to their new home in Malawi, Africa. Grace Community Church commissioned them during the evening service of May 17th, followed immediately by a goodbye party. Nate and Matt initially met because of their mutual interest in missions.  Matt and Rachel were married 6 months before us, so with the newlywed status and missions mindset , they were immediately valued friends.

The resemblance was remarkable – especially when they sported the same hair cut. They were often mistaken for each other.
