Here are some of our first memories with Paton and the many loved ones who came to welcome our little son into this world.
Within minutes of your birth…you were born on Mama’s 33rd Birthday! You’re the best gift I’ve ever received!
Daddy’s first time holding you…so sweet when you looked at each other.
You were born shortly after midnight, and Auntie Bethany, Uncle Johnny and Nana all traveled the 40-minute drive that night to wish both of us a “Happy Birthday!”
A volunteer at the hospital knit this adorable little cap.
The rest of our family (including Ava) came later on that day.
Uncle Trent (my brother) and Auntie Rebecca
Auntie Joanna (Nate’s sister)
Ava’s first introduction to you. She wasn’t quite sure what to think at first.
The purple shoes and pink fluffy skirt from Auntie Joanna were certainly appreciated!
Starting to warm up a little more…
Before long, it was obvious that she simply adored you.
Our little family
Your precious face
My sister and her family
First time meeting your only cousin, Daniel (two months older than you).
All the “Norris” grandchildren
Opening some of my birthday gifts. People were so thoughtful to think of me amidst the excitement of Paton’s arrival!
Auntie Jenn (my cousin)
Tia Larissa (dear friend)
She brought little cakes from Starbucks and sang “Happy Birthday”
Auntie Kim (Jason’s wife)
Cousin Ethan…no longer the youngest boy cousin!
Uncle Jason (Nate’s brother)
The Wells’ “Birthday Candle” app. The flame actually disappeared when you blew on it.
Beautiful cards from the kids.
It was special to have Luann visit, considering that she lives in Utah
Auntie Sarah (good friend)
My birthday flowers, gifts and lovely cards (some for Paton too). Thank you!
Auntie Lydia (Nate’s sister)
Uncle David (my brother)
Auntie Shannon (David’s wife)
Celebrating our combined birthday, a few days after Paton’s birth…at my parents’.
