I’m sure that some baby girls are climbers, but Ava certainly wasn’t, so having a daredevil little boy is quite the surprise! This evening, Paton was contently playing with puzzles when he decided to do something a bit more…challenging…i.e. “freaking out mommy”. I should add that he’s barely sitting up, and while he army crawls everywhere, he has only recently started pulling himself up, but he’s been pretty unstable…nothing quite like this!
Puzzles are fun…
…but climbing onto the book basket is MORE fun.
He had a brief moment of frustration when his petite 8-month old body wasn’t cooperating…
…but quickly gathered his senses and found his happy place.
He then decided to attempt the ultimate climb…
…strategically placing his foot on “Are You My Mother”…
…and pushing himself onto the coffee table.
So proud of himself!
